What
are the Shared Values of the Partnership?
Aspirational Transparency We will strive
to be more open and accountable in our decision-making processes, be
prepared to give reasons for decisions made and actions taken and publish
details of our performance. Ambition We
will strive to be more ambitious and outward-looking in setting our goals
and targets and in working together to address the key needs and concerns
of everyone living in Moray. Innovation We
will strive to be more innovative and take more risks in seeking solutions
to identified issues of concern affecting the quality of life in Moray. Basic Integrity We
will demonstrate integrity of purpose and action in all our relationships,
both within the Partnership and with the general public. Honesty We
will be honest with ourselves and with our communities about what we can
and cannot achieve as a Partnership, so that everyone is clear where they
stand. Motivation We
will demonstrate appropriate energy and enthusiasm in tackling
collectively the major needs and concerns of people in Moray in order to
maximise the added benefits of the Partnership. Open
Mindedness We will take account at all times of ideas, points of
view and ways of working, which are different to our own, and act always
in the best interests of the people of Moray. Core Mutual
Respect and Understanding We will promote equality amongst
ourselves and our communities by not discriminating unlawfully against any
person and by treating people with respect regardless of their race, age,
religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability. Active
Commitment to Partnership Strategy and Responsibility We will
demonstrate active commitment to the vision, aims and objectives of the
Partnership, seeking to uphold and promote these at all times. Deviant Self
Interest Dominates Common Interest We will seek to set aside the
interest of our own partner organisation or Theme Group, where this runs
counter to the identified and agreed common interest of the Partnership. Lack
of Trust We will seek to demonstrate a spirit of trust and understanding
in our working together as a Partnership and in our relationship with the
communities of Moray. Lack
of Openness We will seek to be open and accountable in respect of
all decisions made and actions taken by the Partnership in the course of
its work. Negativism We
will seek constantly to avoid presenting a negative or destructive
viewpoint on matters affecting the Partnership, but be positive and
constructive about the challenges, which we face.
