What is happening locally in Moray?
The Moray Community Plan has been subdivided into 5 key themes.  Multi-agency Theme Groups are in place to address issues within each of these themes.  More information on these themes along with membership, role and remit can be found by clicking on the themes button.

Area Forums have been set up in each of the 8 secondary school catchments across Moray.  Forums bring together representatives from local community organisations and have local residents to tackle issues, which have been identified through local consultation.

What information is there nationally about Community Planning?
Community Planning is one of the key policy initiatives of the Scottish Government.  There are various sources of information on Community Planning at a national level.

Is something similar happening in other parts of Scotland and the UK?
Yes!
All local authorities in Scotland have devised their own Community Plans.  In England and Wales, "Community Planning Partnerships" are known as "Local Strategic Partnerships" and perform similar activities.
